Dear Families,
Happy Friday – beware the Ides of March!
We’ve had a busy week exploring the Dark Ages, navigating the coordinate plane, and getting down and dirty with plants, flowers, and seeds. We’re excited to close out some units and prepare for spring break in just a few more days!
Help us help your students – please make sure that your student is coming to school every day with all the supplies needed to make it through the day – this includes a few sharpened pencils and their homework folder. We have pencil-eating monsters hiding in the floorboards and it seems that nearly no one has a pencil!
This week, we started a new 1:1 Chromebook initiative, and so now every student has been assigned a Chromebook for use here at school. We hope this helps students reduce loss and damage to personal devices as well as helps them narrow their focus to academic-related work during the school day.

Weekly Overview:
Each Monday we post our “Weekly Overview”. This slideshow lists class topics, activities, homework assignments, and contact information. We review the week ahead with students during crew every Monday, and students always have access to the weekly overview in their Crew Google Classroom. Click here to view the weekly overview.
Don Lee Overnight, May 6-7:
