Weekly Letter for 3.8.24

March 8, 2024

Dear Families,

Happy Friday!

It’s the end of the trimester, which means we are 2/3 of the way through the school year. We teachers are hard at work grading and writing Achievement Reports as well as putting plans in place for the last trimester. These past two weeks, students have learned all about soil. On Thursday, they put their skills to the test and became soil scientists, using their knowledge of soil characteristics to identify the locations of mystery soil samples!

See below for our usual announcements and news. If you have any questions, please reach out to your Crew teacher.

Your Team,

Casar, Emily, Hope, and Noah

Announcing the 2024 Exploris Fun Run! Register TODAY!

Hi there, Exploris Families! Our biggest fundraiser of the year is coming up: The Exploris Fun Run! The Exploris Foundation Board and a number of family volunteers have been hard at work to make this year’s event fun, engaging, and impactful.

Ready to jump in with us? Register today! Please take a moment to set up your student’s RallyUp page. It only takes a few minutes, and you can immediately start sending the page to your friends, family, and other networks. Our community is always generous with your time, talent, and treasure. We would love for you to encourage your networks to match that generosity.

Please click here for a video walkthrough of the RallyUp setup process. We will be in touch periodically with updates and helpful information. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Josh at jcorbat@exploris.org if we can help in any way!

What is a Fun Run?
A Fun Run is a friendly fundraising event where our students will walk or run around a course with the goal of raising money for the School. There are two ways to support a student.  A Per-Lap Pledge means that you pledge a dollar amount for every lap that your student completes at the Exploris School Fun Run (all students run between 25-35 laps, not more than 35). Note: Donors will not be charged until after the student has completed the Fun Run and laps have been documented. A Simple Donation means that you pledge to pay a flat amount regardless of how many laps your student runs.
For example, you can pledge $1 per lap or pledge $35 flat as a simple donation.
